At Can Do Strategies, I work alongside rural leaders, nonprofit founders, and small-town change makers; the ones doing real work with tight budgets, deep commitment, and no time for fluff. These are the communities too often overlooked, but full of possibility. I know, because I come from one.

 

I’ve led a trade school, built national partnerships from the ground up, and created SURGE, a program connecting urban youth to careers in skilled trades and the outdoors. Every step of the way, I’ve had to think creatively, stretch resources, and move with intention. I know what it’s like to build while the engine’s running.

 

My role now is to help mission-driven teams turn good ideas into real, lasting results. Whether it’s workforce development, community growth, or finding your next gear - I bring strategic clarity, operational backbone, and deep respect for the work you’re already doing.
