At Can Do Strategies, I work alongside rural leaders, nonprofit founders, and small-town change makers—the ones doing real work with tight budgets, deep commitment, and no time for fluff. These are the communities too often overlooked, but full of possibility. I know, because I come from one.

 

I’ve led a trade school, built national partnerships from the ground up, and created SURGE, a program connecting urban youth to careers in skilled trades and the outdoors. Every step of the way, I’ve had to think creatively, stretch resources, and move with intention. I know what it’s like to build while the engine’s running.

 

My role now is to help mission-driven teams turn good ideas into real, lasting results. Whether it’s workforce development, community growth, or finding your next gear—I bring strategic clarity, operational backbone, and deep respect for the work you’re already doing.
